The North Face McMurdo Parka - Boy's

The North Face Boy's McMurdo Parka is pretty much guaranteed to keep your fast-growing human tornado warm despite his best efforts at turning into a snowball-throwing popsicle. Rugged Palisade 4.1 HyVent fabric stands up to abuse without cooking your kid—it's fully breathable, waterproof, and comfortable to wear. On the really cold days, cinch down the removable insulated hood complete with synthetic fur ruff. Of course, the McMurdo's full 550-fill down insulation is some of the best in the business at insulation; not even a Minnesota winter will find its way through that much fluffy down. Tons of pockets provide storage for candy bars, forgotten sticks of pre-chewed gum, and lunch money. These include two upper stash pockets, an internal electronics pocket, and double-compartment hand pockets.

Bottom Line: Cold weather's worst enemy.
