The North Face Pandora Backpack - Women's - 700cu in
The North Face designed the Pandora Backpack specifically for women, so you don't have to lug things around in an uncomfortable “unisex” bag. Contoured shoulder straps and a tailored back length give the Pandora Backpack a tailored fit. The North Face added a front organizer and multiple internal pockets to keep everything where you need it.
Bottom Line: Get the pack built just for you—The North Face Women's Pandora Backpack.

I had the most perfect Cosmos Pink / Zinc Grey Pandora. It was my ditty bag for two years. I never went anywhere without at least throwing it in the trunk of my car, even when I didn't specifically need it on my back. Mine was part purse, part overnight-bag, part briefcase, part tool-box, and part first-aid kit.
It's short height is PERFECT for riding in the rear saddle on most motorcycles, even on a big touring bike that looks more like Cleopatra's limousine than a motorcycle.
Unfortunately, my Pandora was in the trunk of my car when my car was stolen last Fall. I was far more heartbroken over losing gear than my fully insured car! Priority #1 - replace the car. Priority #2 - replace my beloved Pandora.
I hope The North Face will keep this amazing bag in its line-up for a long time to come, because I've never found anything else with enough pockets to keep-organized everything I could possibly need for a day/overnight trip and then some ... in such a TINY package. I'm actually planning to buy ANOTHER one so that I have one for everyday use and one dedicated just for "outdoor activities" ... just as soon as The North Face rolls out a pretty new pink.
-------
CAUTION: this is *NOT* a good "book bag" for school, because the top of the bag is too narrow to fit your 12-pound hardbound biology book.
Otherwise, grab your TSA-approved 1qt zipper lock bag o'toiletries, lunch, multi-tool, first aid pouch, fresh undies/socks/t-shirt, cell phone charger, journal, mp3 player, emergency contacts, and HIT THE ROAD!
While it's not a back country pack by any definition -- if you're going some place where you can travel light, the Pandora *CAN* be far more than just a "day pack". Makes for a nice skiing/snowboarding pack too!
I love it

This bag is great for a day hike when you don't need to bring much. I can fit a Nalgene, a magazine, a towel, sunglasses, and my ipod perfectly. It should not be purchased as a bookbag. I can barely fit a five star notebook in it. I love the way it fits on my back. It is very comfortable. I just took it to a football tailgate and game that lasted 10 hours. I was never annoyed or bothered by carrying it. I use it instead of a purse as well as on hikes. Totally worth the money!

Yeah. I think it'd be a great backpack for school, especially with the organizer and internal pockets. And all the cool color combos? Totally eighth grade.

Too Small, Good Quality
By: Anonymous
January 9, 2008
Perhaps I should have paid closer attention to the size as I found this backpack much too small. It could be said that it is perhaps a little misleading to call this backpack a women's backpack as it is more a child's backpack. Other than size the backpack's overall quality is appropriate. It appears to be well made - no loose threads, zips appear to be strong, comfortable to wear.

you might have to fold the corners in. thats how small it is. i would not recommend it for school even the front pocket is very tiny. only a couple of pens and pencil and an eraser.I think you'll be hard pressed to find a pack that fits him and will hold a folder that size.

Very attractive and fashionable. I bought this bag for a trip to Europe and it really fit a lot of essentials. Currently I'm using it as a gym bag and overnight bag.

We just got back from vacation and this backpack was exactly what I was hoping. It's big enough for the essentials - wallet, camera, map, etc. but not too big.
I'm pregnant, so was looking forward to a really comfortable backpack. The straps are actually padded, which is difficult to find in a small backpack. Overall, a great purchase.

Smaller than expected, but does the job. If you are going on a bike ride, to the beach, or just running around town...it's great. The colors are great though.

LOVE these little pandoras. Just big enough to fit all the essentials, and small enough to snatch up in a hurry, when you've gotta go NOW! I highly recommend! SEASONS GREETINGS!

The bag i bout isnt the best..I actually thought it was going to be a bit bigger than what it turned out to be. I mean, I think $40 dollars is a little steep for a bag of that size. I didnt return it because I thought it was going to be more a hassle. I guess I will just use it for the little things.
GREAT F-ING BAG.

Nice little backpack
By: Anonymous
January 25, 2005
I took this pack on a recent trip to Belize to use as a small daypack, and it served its purpose well. I managed to cram a good-sized camera, wildlife guidebook, and a few snacks into it. It's definitely too small to serve as a "real" hiking backpack (or even daypack unless you're an extremely light packer!), but if all you need to carry are the basics for a day out exploring, it's a nice little pack. Good fit - very comfortable. The one thing missing was an external pocket to hold a water bottle.

Improved over previous version. Front zipper compartment is larger so you can actually fit something into it. North Face has added net dividers inside the main compartment. Straps are more comfortable without the cross straps over the chest and waist. I'm very satisfied with it.

I love this backpack. It is so cute and a convenient size for those quick day trips. I can fit my book, Nalgene water bottle and some granola bars in here with enough room for my wallet. It's great for an afternoon hike or a train ride into the city.

After a couple of annoying emails asking for my personal insight, I gave in... the backpack is great, ideal for carrying the little things I need for school. Doesn't fit much more then a couple of books nothing to big, it's cute, feminine, and fits well on my back. Hopefully this will be enough to get you guys off my back! Whatever happened to the days of shopping without the hassle? HA!

The pack was much too small for anyone over a preschool age, and really could be used just for a purse. I returned the item. Customer service was helpful and the instructions for the return were simple.

This Pandora Backpack is a small, great tote for a day trip. Although not huge, it has space for a lot of items easily at your disposal. It is nice and light and does not hurt your back. Would I like to have paid less? Yes. It really caught my eye because of the "sale" on it. However, the "sale" was only on a pink one and that would not work for me. I still love it and am very happy I bought it. I plan on using it for many more trips to go!!!

I didn't pay attention to the order my daughter placed. She thought she was ordering a backpack for school, but the PANDORA turned out to be to small for school. She now uses her PANDORA PACK instead of using this huge collection of purses. It's black and goes with just about everything, it's good for a casual day or if she just wants to carry a bunch of stuff with her.
Pandora Backpack great for those easy days

At first glance, the Women's Pandora Backpack seems too small. It is small, but completely functional and perfect for the days when you don't need to carry tons of stuff. Sort of like a glorified purse only much more efficient and definitely cooler. I have a larger pack for the days when I need to carry more stuff (gym clothes, groceries, school books) but the Pandora is great for a regular day at the office or a leisurely weekend adventure. I have taken it to the beach with a sweater, a water bottle, a book and a lunch and it all fit just fine. And the multitude of interior pockets are fabulous: small ones, big ones, zippered ones, hooray for options! The Pandora pack also unzips all the way down to the bottom, so you can easily splay the whole pack open and see everything you have squeezed in.
Another hurrah for The North Face

The Pandora fits the bill perfectly for a smaller size pack... great for us gals who want to use something more utilitarian for a purse. I had used it recently to tote my DSLR camera, rain jacket, wallet, keys, and snacks around town and traveling.
Great little daypack

Using this little daypack in Europe was great. I kept a thin windbreaker, 16oz bottle or water, a digital camera, and a couple smaller items. That made it pretty fullbut I had everything I needed. It won't quite fit an 8.5x11 notebook though. But again, it is great as an around town daypack.
Do not be deceived by the size

This is a small bag. It is not a backpack in the traditional sense. It will not fit a 9 X 11in folder, much less that plus a text book. As far as a purse, it would be fine to fit a water bottle plus purse accessories, but it is not a backpack.

Excellent alternative to a purse. Plenty of room for most common items you would carry in a large purse/small backpack. Excellent quality.

I bought this for my wife for our trip to Israel, but I can't take it away from her now. She loves this bag, and frequently carries it as a handbag. Tons of pockets, a real decent amount of space, and built extremely well. She says 5/5, so it gets 5/5.
Good small bag.

I've been looking long and hard for the smallest backpack that would hold 8.5 x 11 papers. This is the one I've settled on. I'm not thrilled with the color choices but am pretty happy with the "vintage white" discontinued color. The only annoying thing is that if I wear this bag with a sleeveless shirt, the plastic buckles on the straps chafe. Overall it's a very sturdy, comfortable bag, and I'm thrilled to have a backpack that is big enough, but doesn't overwhelm my 5'2" frame.
My city pack...

This small pack works like a briefcase on the back. It is small and compact with plenty of dividers and pockets inside to keep things organized. It rides high and comfortably between the shoulder blades. It works well to pack a small lunch and a few safety items for the shorter day hikes. I do wish it had a way to attach a water bottle. Other than that, I love it!

I bought this backpack for a hiking trip in the Smoky Mountains. We were doing small day hiking trips, and this bag was perfect. I think I told my boyfriend ten times how much I love this backpack. It has so many compartments and it keeps your stuff organized. The only 2 complaints I have are it started chaffing my arms when I had a tank top on, and it doesn't have a strap across the chest or waist. But these were never a major issue. I was able to fit band-aids, alcohol wipes, extra contacts, 2 bottles of water, medicine, lunch (pb sandwich, apple, granola bars), a waterproof jacket (very lightweight), my digital camera, small hairbrush, and well you get the idea. It is a small backpack (its a good size for young children grades K-3), so don't buy this for school.

Perfect small backpack for day hikes. Just what I was looking for nice and compact. Holds a couple bottled waters (for me and the dog) keys, phone, snack, dog toy and small essentials. Very comfy. Soy Beige is a great color combo for any season. Love it!

This bag is exactly what i wanted and more. It is a perfect size for me....i am goin to take it to the beach with me. when i first saw the picture i thought it was goin to be to big but it isn't. Those of you who are looking for an actual book bag for school this isn't a good bag for that, the picture makes it look a lot bigger than it really is. I looked for a while to find a small bag like this one that was good quality but not too expansive and this was the perfect match.... thanks north face i love it!

Good bag. I bought this bag as a gift and it has served its' purpose extremely well. She uses this bag for work, school, on her bike, and cruising around. Also uses this bag on day hikes, so it does not create specific sweating points which can be super annoying. All in all, great bag!
