I love this coat. I live in Chicago and the winters can be pretty brutal. Even in early Spring, when I could wear a lighter coat, I choose to wear the Nuptse because it is incredibly comfortable.

I really love my white Nuptse Down Jacket, this is the third Nuptse Jacket I have bought, I have also a brown one and a lilac one and I would love a red one! I think that counts as an obsession!!!

Hey, I own about 7 The North Face jackets: all different degrees of warmth for different climates, this jacket is absoltly beatiful and resilient. It also snaps into a waterproof shell (i recommend these!!). I get so many compliments. True to size...also wash it once before you wear it, the poofiness comes down. When it arrives it was very poofy and marshmellow-like, but after one wash/dry (follow the instructions on the label) it looks beautiful!

I own the nuptse vest, but my wife wanted the full blown version. She always wanted one for the style so I bought her one. She is always cold, no matter how many layers she wears she always is complaining about being cold. Until this jacket came in the mail. She told me that this jacket is officially the first jacket that she has ever worn that she gets TOO hot in. Amazing, 11 years of her griping about the thermostat and all I had to do was buy this jacket. You ask my wife? She says this jacket is so good. You ask me? I say my ears are no longer ringing.

Deep pockets and feeling cold - buy this and you will be fine. Very expensive! But worth the price.

The North Face Nuptse is the best jacket for cold weather. It's super warm, yet lightweight and stylish. I live in New England and it has been cold here lately and I am always cold anyway, but I'm nice and warm in my Nuptse. For really cold temps (in the teens or lower) I will wear another layer underneath. This is my 3rd Nuptse jacket, but definitely not my last.

The Nuptse Women's jacket is a wonderful jacket. It keeps you warm and its very light. Its appearance is so nice that makes stop people in the street asking for it. I strongly recommend this jacket to every woman or girl specially in white that is a very feminine color.

Warm enough for 40 degrees F weather with wind. The only thing cold was the parts of the body the jacket doesn't cover.

I love this jacket! It is an absolute necessity for anyone who camps a lot. I just finished a week-long physical endurance challenge where I was expected to spend the night in the woods with only the contents in my pack...no tent, no sleeping bag. I packed this jacket (which was very light) and wore it to stay warm during the night at times of inactivity. Besides the practicality of the jacket it is also really cute too.

Love the jacket, only item is that it runs very small. Bought the jacket for my mom in an XL, and found that I could wear it (I am usually a S or M), and it was too tight for mom. I decided to keep it for myself though. It packs down into a small area for travel.

I initially did not want to get this jacket because I was afraid it would be too puffy. So I actually bought another The North Face jacket with less down-fill so it wouldn't be to puffy, but it was so thin and disappointing. I finally gave in and bought the nuptse; I couldn't have made a better choice. It is soooooo warm and comfy and I don't look like the marshmallow man! It is very stylish. I'm 5ft2in, 120lbs, usually a size small in everything else, but I got a medium in this jacket and it fits perfectly. I say this because the other The North Face I bought was a small and it just didn't fit right, the arms were short and so was the length.

Love the white, but hope it doesn't get dirty too quickly. Very warm.

Bought for my GF, very versatile jacket for the winter months. She can wear a t shirt underneath when its 15 degrees and still be warm. Great jacket for going out at night during the middle of winter. Plus it packs real small so its great for spring camping trips when the temp drops at night. I have the guys version of the same jacket.

My friend and I both have this coat and we absolutely love it. We live in Wyoming and it could not be warmer or more comfortable on cold, snowy, windy days. It scrunches up into a nice little pouch which was great for traveling. The fit is nice; not as slim as the Flash, but still flattering. Definitely a great buy, and you guys were awesome.

This jacket is SUPER warm and very functional- I bought it to wear around the stables on those especially frigid days, and it cleans up easily when I need to look nicer for competitions!

I wish the jacket came one size smaller, the size small for adults is really huge!!! Love love the color, lilac. You could make it in kids sizes.

I have been looking at and longing for this jacket online for like ever, but never had the money to get it. But when I saw the color I wanted (diamond blue) only had one more left in my size, and it was 20% off, I jumped into action and used my moms credit card and am making payments to her. And jeez it is worth it! The outside of the jacket feels almost like silk, and the inside the same. I thought the coat would be big and bulky, and I'd look like Michelin Man, LOL but the shipping weight was only 1.7lbs!! It is so lightweight and the down is so soft and non-bulky, I swear it feels like your wearing nothing, except for the excellent warmth it provides. I would highly recommend this jacket. The only thing I don't like is that it's not waterproof. But I still give it 5 stars!!

On a scale of 1 to 10, the North Face Nuptse jacket is a 12. Granted, I don't live in the coldest city in the United States, but I still LOVE this jacket. It's gotten me through some super cold days when we've had arctic blasts, and I feel stylish to top it all off; okay, I guess the superb comfort counts for something too. Let's just face it--North Face is quality gear for any climate. And it's pretty darn good looking too.

This is a great coat. It is warm and so cozy! I usually wear a small but did have to get this in an extra small. The light color is slightly challenging to keep clean, especially if you have pets. However, the cuteness of this coat makes a frequent wash totally worth while.

The Nuptse is great jacket. Very warm without the bulk. Very stylish and although I really like that it's so short (in length) I can see how some may not. Wind does go right through the zipper but it's just an "around the town" coat for me so it's tolerable.

Was very impressed with the warmth, fit, and look of the jacket. Cannot get over how warm this jacket is. I live in Minnesota where it gets very cold in the winter, and I have yet to feel cold through this jacket. It has draw strings in the pockets to tighten the jacket at waist length to prevent cold from seeping in. I've owned other down jackets from Columbia and Lands End, but this one is higher quality and much much warmer. Very well designed and fashionable. Will probably last for years to come. Well worth it for the price! Lifetime warranty, how can you go wrong?

This makes my third North Face Jacket purchased this year. I have a Denali jacket, a Fullare jacket and now the Nuptse jacket. I really did not want to spend the money on another jacket, as I am a college student with limited money but...the price was very good and color was perfect . I could not resist. It is comfortable, light weight and good looking. I have no regrets about spending the money. It was well worth it. Thank you.

i really liked my jacket my only warning is stay away from bon fires. if any sparks or anything get on that jacket it will burn a hole very easily.

Fabulous jacket. I wear a L and the L is perfect with a little room to spare for layering. Really warm and very lightweight. The zip up collar does not get in the way or bother you. Shipping was quick as lightning. Ordered it on a tues. night and arrived that thurs early afternoon...wow!

this jacket was a great Christmas present! the nuptse jacket is so soft and warm, i just love it! it's great for staying warm after a hike, but it also looks great with a pair of jeans!

This coat is very, very warm and extremely light. This is the best coat by far that I have ever purchased. Great fit as well.

I like the coat overall, but I believe there are too many feathers coming out and it hasn't even been washed yet.

The Nuptse jacket is great, compared to any trendy down jacket (Burton, Roxy, etc) this is much warmer. Sizing is pretty standard.
