Thorlos engineered the Women's Hiking Sock for extended hikes over variable rugged terrain in moderate climates. This women's-specific hiking sock offers maximum impact dispersion, protection from shear forces, and blister prevention specific to the needs of a serious hiker. A unique combination of THOR-LON, wool, nylon, polyester and spandex provides you with superior insulation and padding that won't break down or flatten with use. A smaller heel pocket, a custom toe area, and an extra-stretchy ankle zone create a female-specific fit for even greater comfort. A ventilation panel enhances moisture management. Due to this sock's maximum level of padding, you may find already tight-fitting boots become overly snug; a roomier boot will allow peak performance from the sock.
