Teva Ventura Cork 2 Sandal - Women's
The Teva Women's Ventura Cork 2 Sandals have a fancy strap design that adds extra class to summer skirt outfits and comfortable cork midsoles that won't make your feet rebel halfway through the day. Waterproof leather uppers don't make a big deal out of light rain showers, while the Ventura Cork Sandals' non-slip rubber outsoles handle kitchen tile. Embossed leather footbeds add a layer of eye delight when you take these Teva sandals off.
Bottom Line: Easy on the eyes and your feet.

"Special" feet find summer home!

At last ~ a sandal I can wear comfortably. I have special neds feet; plantar faciitis, arthritis, bone spurs, bunions, orthotics... pretty huh? Since I can't wear my orthotics in most sandals, I have to find a sandal that is reasonably comfortable without them. Cork soles have served me well in the past.
Perhaps some of you have noticed that stylish and sensible rarely show up in the same shoe. These have a solid footbed and flex in only the right places. They have a back strap so your foot doesn't have to work overtime to hang onto it. They are not trying too hard to be high fashion. They are simple and lovely and practical and comfortable. So now I actually have something I can wear with a skirt! Thank you Teva!
The only thing I would change is to have the sole conform a little more readily to my aching arches.

They fit perfectly, look really good and I have them on right now. I love the color, it goes with anything. I even use them in the office. My work environment is business casual but I can even wear these with skirts. I am very happy with these.
Are these shoes comfortable enough to wear walking all day? I
Are these shoes comfortable enough to wear walking all day? I don't drive and live in the city so need a good summer sandal that is comfortable enough and stable enough for a mile or so of walking a day.

My Favorite Sandals

I've worn Teva sandals for years, but there are my favorite style. I recently bought 2 pair and these are my 3rd and 4th pair in this style. We winter in Florida and summer in the north Georgia mountains. I practically wear them daily year round.
RECOMMENDED!

Second pair for me! First pair tromped around Mexico 2 months and Australia 7 weeks! The only casual shoes I used and worn daily. Going strong still and now I have a backup pair... in case....
How thick is the heel on this shoe
How thick is the heel on this shoe

In the picture above, the heel looks much thicker but it's only as thick as the sole where the strap goes across the front part of the shoe (the heel is slightly cupped). I'd say it's a little more than half an inch.

LOVE these great sandals, wear with skirt, shorts or slacks, ... comfortable +++, stable for walking the cobblestones of Mexican towns, enough arch support to wear all day! Will buy a second pair.
Stylish Sandal for a Backpacker

I wanted a 'stylish' pair of walking sandals while backpacking Thailand and the Philippines (day tours, hiking and great for the water too). I bought the tan pair and absolutely love it. It gave me enough support and it stayed on unlike flip flops. Fits true to size. Now that my trip is over, I can still wear it in the office. The only con I found was the the area by the toes wore out quicker than I thought. Overall I highly recommend.
Too hard

I found the soles to be too hard for walking long distances.
