The Teva Women's Dozer Sandals feature durable synthetic uppers that provide full-foot coverage and welcomed toe protection. Their compression-molded EVA midsoles absorb shock on trail or city turf. The Dozer's encapsulated heel shock pad transfers energy away from the heel while you walk, giving you increased spring power during forefoot pushoff. For easy mid-hike adjustments, Teva gave the Dozer Sandal a one-pull elastic adjustment cord, so you don't have to crouch on the trail and mess around with straps. A grippy Traction Rubber outsole gives you sure footing on slick surfaces and steep terrain, and a Microban Zinc treatment fights bacteria that leads to stinky feet.
Bottom Line: Put some spring in your step on the trail or in town with Teva's Dozer Sandals.

I'm looking for a shoe/sandal to wear IN the river and for the steep hikes down TO the river. The spots where we usually go, to swim, snorkel and float, have steep trails down, and sometimes rocky entrances into the river. Will this shoe work? I don't like regular sneakers, as they are just too doggone heavy and cumbersome, and regular cheapy watershoes, just don't afford me enough foot protection. Thanks to anyone for your input.
