Teva’s Women’s Dozer Sandal offers coverage, air, and drainage for watersports and warm-weather hikes. With sculpted footbeds for support and athletic performance, the Dozer’s heel incorporates a Shoc Pad heel cup that absorbs impact and adds spring to your steps. High traction rubber grips dirt, rocks, and rafts with no problem, and Teva even built in environmentally friendly Microban Zinc anti-odor protection. A single draw cord adjusts the shoe’s tightness and fit, and the padded heel strap holds your foot comfortably in place.
Bottom Line: It’s lame to have to choose between sandals and shoes.
I'm looking for a shoe/sandal to wear IN the river and for the steep hikes down TO the river. The spots where we usually go, to swim, snorkel and float, have steep trails down, and sometimes rocky entrances into the river. Will this shoe work? I don't like regular sneakers, as they are just too doggone heavy and cumbersome, and regular cheapy watershoes, just don't afford me enough foot protection. Thanks to anyone for your input.
