SmartWool Lightweight Zip T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Wear the SmartWool Men's Lightweight Zip-T long-sleeve shirt for cool-weather aerobic activities or as a next-to-skin base layer. SmartWool's porous natural fibers move moisture while it is still in vapor form before it has a chance to condense on your skin; you stay drier and more comfortable throughout your entire workout. By comparison, synthetics transport moisture after it condenses, which means you must visibly sweat before any moisture management begins. SmartWool fiber is also highly adaptable to a broad range of conditions; it keeps you warm in winter and cool in spring. This naturally antimicrobial shirt features a ½-length Zip-T collar for increased ventilation control. Flatlock-seam construction reduces chafing, and an active fit allows for bulk-free layering without inhibiting your freedom of movement.

Bottom Line: The SmartWool Lightweight is no pushover base layer.

XL but sleeves aren't long enough!

By:

Love the smartwool but I'm 6'4" and have long arms. When are these shirt companies going to make a TALL size? I only got XL so the arms would be longer, I really am a L. Like the feel of the shirt but can tell I won't wear it for everything I want to wear it for because the sleeves aren't long enough.

Outstanding

My go-to biking layer when the temps are in the 40-65 range, also good for below that with additional layers. Sizing is pretty accurate, the long arms and and stretchy fabric make it possible to size down for a tighter layering fit, I like it in my ordinary size (L) because it still layers well but can also work as a casual shirt. Holds up well to repeated washings - use woolite and the gentle cycle, also helps to turn it inside out. Nice that you don't have to wash every time you ride like my synthetic layers.

Deceptively warm!

By:

Having worn a Burton first layer for about 10 years now I was a bit doubtful that this thin shirt could be as warm... Wow, was I mistaken! This is so thin that it feels like a regular shirt but it is plenty warm! I normally wear an XL for everything but an L fit me perfect. (I'm 189cm and thin with long arms)

Great top, perfect for a base layer or outer high aerobic activity. Seems to be holding up really well from those fine folk at Smartwool!

Perfect Weight

This shirt is perfect for those cooler days of hiking and biking. It fits close to skin and I bought a medium. I usually wear a large, but it fits perfect.
