Swix Snowboard Vise - 2007
The Swix Snowboard Vice turns almost any table or workbench into a waxing table, just try not to get wax on the dining room floor. Simply clamp the two vises to the table at an appropriate distance, and throw your board on top. Adjustable width offers stability when working on the base and clamps the board at a 90-degree angle when you're working on the edges.
Bottom Line: It beats having your idiot buddy hold the board while you try to scrape it.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Great vice for a home shop. Able to secure it on one of my folding tables and it remained stable throughout the whole job. It keeps my boards stable as well. Worth the investment.

this one keeps me out of trouble --most of the time. On a serious note, this thing works great. A lot better than trying to hold your board with your knee. Small enough to throw in a gear bag and take it with you on a long trip. also, seems to be better constructed than competing model.
Great for setting up your at home tuning shop

Much better then trying to tune your board or skis and having them move exactly when you dont want them to, causing a burr in an edge or un-needed stress. I finally decided to just bite the bullet and make my home able to do what a shop can and it has actually saved me money over the years. The vise is secure but it could be even more, slightly wobbly.
