Suunto t3c Heart Rate Monitor with Comfort Belt

The Suunto t3c Heart Rate Monitor Watch uses built-in Training Effect programming to provide extremely accurate, real-time training data based on your personal fitness level. A serious workout for a recreational hiker is just a warm-up for a marathon runner. The t3c Heart Rate Monitor uses information your body provides to let you know how hard you should be training instead of relying on a predetermined program. This Suunto watch also includes a 15-workout memory, real-time heart rate and calorie-burning data, and PC compatibility to track your progress as your fitness increases. Thanks to Suunto's Comfort Belt, you won't even notice you're wearing a chest strap while you train.

Bottom Line: Accurate training with maximum comfort.

Great training Buddy

By:

Great training buddy! The t3c I thought was easy to use and only took a couple of sessions to learn all the features. The amount of training info that it records is impressive. I also thought the belt was fairly comfortable considering I hated others before. Unlike the other review writer I didn't have trouble lifting weights, when the watch is on lock. All and all I think it's great and I love mine.

Pretty Good Piece of Kit

By:
October 1, 2008

I was turned on to this from many reviews online. It is a good heart-rate monitor, however, it is not good for wear while lifting weights (running and biking were no problem). Due to the sensitivity of buttons on the side, everytime my wrist bent while lifting, the watch time would change or the timer would start/stop. Overall good watch, just, not completely suitable for all physical activities. Cheers!

Yes, this HRM has calories burned, zone training, watch with dual time, date, alarm, and stopwatch with splits and laps.

I got it for my dad last Christmas, he absolutely loves it.

Sorry for the confusion this does seem to be a mistake with our "Tech Specs", this watch does NOT have an altimeter.

Great, functional HRM

By:

The T3c from Suunto is an extremely functional HRM. I love the k/cal or energy used indication, it's extremely satisfying to see those calories burned away. Finding your way around the logs takes a bit of getting used to but it's because there's a wealth of information. The one thing that's a bother is you cannot read the output when you're wearing polarizing glasses. I wear it for cycling and also for general heart monitoring/trending. Suunto makes great products, I recommend them highly.

It does, all the T series watches operate in that manner. The setup is a bit extensive, but once it's all done the watch is pretty awesome.
