Can you change the batteries yourself or is this like Polar where you have to have it operated on and it costs a fortune for a battery change. Thanks. Peter

Suunto (and just about every other HR monitor maker) capitalized on the fact that Polar charged an arm and a leg to replace a battery and decided to design their products so users could replace them.

This model has user replaceable batteries in both the wristop computer and the chest strap.
