Sugoi RS Bike Short - Women's

The material is soft and forgiving and the legs are not too tight. I agree that the material is see through and should not be for biking without wearing black anti-bacterial undies. Sugoi needs to make the back panel in a heavy material. I kept them for the comfort factor.

I really like the fit and padding. However, the material is too thin and bit see thru. Don't want my riding partners having to look at my crack. I will be returning them for this reason.

These shorts have a great fit, but I found that the medium was too tight in the waist for me. I'm 5'5, weigh 125#, and my waist is 29.5". I ordered the large and they are perfect. The shorts come with a draw string but with the stretchy fabric it doesn't seem necessary. I also have muscled thighs and I am particular about the bottom leg bands that sometimes grip too tight. These sugoi leg grippers are so comfortable!! They hug my leg without binding. The dimpled fabric has a nice feel on, but can be a bit rough when you wipe your hands against it. I ordered a second pair because of the great chamois and the comfortable fit.

I was a devoted Castelli fan until I got my first saddle sore. I knew my saddle wasn't the problem so the next step was to try a different short. I started asking all my cycling friends (only the girls) what short they used. It was amazing how many woman complained about their shorts, all except one who loved her Sugois. She is also the one who rides the hardest so I really trusted her opinion. And she was right. The first ride I did in the Sugoi RS short made all the difference in the world. I immediately ordered a second pair. Now here's the kicker. I still had a pretty new pair of Castelli shorts, so I rode them on a 40 mile ride and I ended up with another abrasion. So I ordered another pair of Sugoi - I'll never ride on another pair of shorts. ps: I do wonder how warm they'll be on cooler rides, but in the southern Utah heat, they are incredibly cool & comfortable.

I'm really particular about my cycling shorts - these pass all my tests! The pad isn't too big and stays dry. Shorts hug my legs and feel supportive but the fabric is sort of a looser/mesh weave. The only potential drawback I see is that they probably won't be great on a cooler day due to the fabric.

These shorts are great. They're what's going to get me through the Bike Tour of Colorado in June. I have them in all three colors. The pad is not bulky, yet cushions you in all the right places for those long days on the bike.
