Sometimes when you put on a new piece of clothing you're surprised or caught off guard when you put it on for the first time because of fit or feel. That's how I was with this short. I thought I had good running shorts, but apparently not because these felt SO awesome when I put them on (although they are so light I felt naked for the first ten minutes, that was weird). I've got big hips...er, really strong legs so I usually wear a large (8-10ish) and the large fits really well. I also like the look of them, I didn't get the puff-factor like another review said. I like how they fit on the waist, just above my hips. These are perfect for hot days hiking or running...even wearing to the gym.
