Sea To Summit X-Bowl - 2008
While your buddy struggles to stuff a rigid bowl in his pack, you can slip the Sea To Summit collapsible X-Bowl easily into your backpack. When it's time to eat, the flexible silicone sides of the X-Bowl pull up, while the base stays stable so you won't end up with a lap full of soup. The bottom of this lightweight bowl is cut-resistant in case you need to chop a few veggies for your meal, and the sides withstand temps up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bottom Line: It's a small cutting board, plate, and bowl all in one.

What is the diameter? I need it to fit inside my cook kit.

Recently I needed to fit an overnight trip into a daypack and this bowl came in super handy. It was the last thing to get shoved in, and it was no problem. I think it's even bigger than my old camping bowl that didn't fold up which was awesome for containing all my dinner noodles. And since it can withstand up to 300 degree temps i left my mug at home, too. I haven't given the cutting board base any action yet, but it looks bomber.
