Sea To Summit 100% Premium Silk Sleeping Bag Liner - 2007
The Sea to Summit 100% Premium Silk Sleeping Bag Liner not only feels luxurious, it provides a layer of protection between you and sketchy hostel or budget hotel mattresses. Thanks to its high quality, machine-washable, colorfast ripstop silk, this sleeping bag liner packs down into its own stuff sack and weighs only 9 ounces, so you can easily take it traveling or backpacking. On cold, clear nights under the stars, layer it in your sleeping bag to add up to 10 degrees of warmth to your bag's temperature rating. Sea to Summit used double folded seams for added comfort and durability.
Bottom Line: Use the Premium Silk Sleeping Bag Liner for 4-star comfort in budget accommodations, or use it to increase the warmth of your sleeping bag.

warmer than it looks

I was hesitant about spending so much on a liner, but this worked brilliantly. It's surprisingly warm for such thin material. I was very impressed by it's strength (I though I was going to rip it in no time). I used it for camping, but will take it anywhere I'm travelling now, in case I'm staying at a hostel. Packs down small too.

kind of awkward to struggle into a silk liner in your long johns, then struggle yourself and the liner into your sleeping bag. Worth the effort, though- I would guesstimate at least a 15 degree improvement in bag warmth. Slept toasty the whole night through

Review Title Sea to Summit Silk bag liner

I purchased the above liner, it was rectangular in shape for a muli-day backpacking trip. I worked nice! No bunching up of the liner, warm and comfortable. I did not purchase the silk liner for additional warmth but to help keep my goose down bag from smelling "gamie".
Works great. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their bag odor free.

I really like the bag liners. I used them when I visited a friend for a night. It was nice to not impact my friend since I had my sheets with me. They are comfortable, they wash easily and they dry very quickly. I am planning on using them on my trip to China next fall when we will be traveling by sleeper trains.
I can't tell from the options drop-down list which one is

Excellent product- warm, comfortable, easy to wash, dries quickly.
I'm 5'7"; the regular length is more than ample. Rectangular shape is nice and roomy. Very light weight and super easy to pack tacking up very little room.

One of my better buys over the years. It's light, compact, warm and feels like silk pajama's. Great for hiking/biking or over night trips.
Put it in your bag first

Comfortable, strong fabric, breathes well, easy to clean, and big enough for a big guy (I bought the tall version, mind you). If you slide it in the bag first, then step in, it's easy to get in and out, and my bag is fresher and warmer.
Great for Hostels

Bought the Traveler for a three week backpacking trip to Europe and stayed in Hostels. I'm 6'3" and it was long enough for me. It also is very small, which was great for traveling with a backpack. Highly recommend it.
