A Great PFD for the Kayak Angler

This is a great PFD for the kayak angler because the back rides high and doesn't interfere with comfortable seating. Gotta love all those pockets for all the odds 'n' ends a fisherman takes with him/her. I got the "oversize" model as well, and the fit was perfect even though I take a 4XL-5XL. I would have preferred the Mango over the Cactus color for visibility; it always seems us big folk get fewer options, doesn't it? But that's a relatively minor thing compared to the PFD's functionality and performance.

I've been searching for just the right PFD for use with my pontoon boat. This model looked good so I thought I'd give it a try. It's very comfortable and functional. I flyfish from my boat so having my fly tackle readily at hand on my PFD means less clutter up-front on the boat and no need for a FF-vest over the PFD. Highly recommend this product.

Got the "Oversize" which is really the "Universal" fit. This will fit from a small to a large. The drawback is that you have lots of extra strap material. I like all of the features. Great for float fishing.

Have had my Stolquist Fisherman for about a month now and like it quite a bit. My only complaint would be that I'd like a couple of soft exterior pockets in addition to the hardshell/table pockets in the front. Other than that it's great, comfortable, good attachment points for tools, etc.

this is a nice PFD, very comfortable.
I have not flipped over my kayak yet, so I am not sure about the flotation of this PFD. I wish I never need to test that.
