These dry-treated twin ropes won't gain water weight while they sit in the snow at the belay, so you don't finish a pitch with five pounds more than you started with. You'll appreciate the Ice Thong's low 40g/m weight on a long approach. Using two of these Sterling ropes adds redundancy to your system and allows you to make full-length rappels off the multi-pitch monster you just sent. *Sold individually.
