Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses
The Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses's aggressive style and a wrap-around frame give you the look and feel you want for fast-moving outdoor sports like mountain biking and trail running. Spy increased the Scoop's ventilation to ensure they don't fog at just the wrong moment. You need clear vision when taking on that burly ladder drop or tying to catch the eye of the person down the beach.
Bottom Line: Life happens fast, and the Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses keep the pace.

Hi, I own SPY Scoop HS sunglass (with yellow line in the handle)...
Hi, I own SPY Scoop HS sunglass (with yellow line in the handle) for more than 5 years now. The frame is worn out, so any chance to 'polish' them up? My lenses are scratched as well, which I think can be replaced. But I am not sure that tint that I should look for. I love my current tint. Can some one help!? (I am not from USA, so buying another one is not quite easy..) Thanks, Praveen

I'm on my third pair - I lost a pair in the surf in Playa del Carmen, lost another pair kayaking - think I would learn, eh? Anyway, I've tried a few Oakley shades because everyone raves about Oakley but these are the best shades I have ever owned. They do not fog, period! I use these when riding my motorcycle and have zero problems with wind in my eyes. For the money, these can't be beat! Buy a pair today, you will not be disappointed.

The flexible tips on these sunglasses are awesome for my competition motocross helmet... they are great for snowmobiling because the vents in them keep them from fogging up on you... highly recommended

Maybe I just received a bad pair, but the rubber arms on the side are misaligned by almost a half inch, making them fit crooked on the face. Easiest way to see how "off" they are is to open them and lay them on a table - one arm does not touch the table - about a half inch too high.
Will probably return them.

These are pretty cool looking glasses; however, the do not fit well. The stems are overly flexible making the fit loose. Still, for the price they make a great pair of outdoor glasses in situations where you may lose or damage your gear.

I've been really pleased with these sunglasses. Indeed, they are light, and the clarity of the lenses is splendid. In fact, they're clearer than any other glasses I've worn, and I tend to be extremely picky about clarity. The only reason I don't rate the Scoop HS as "5" is that I don't think the whole "scoop" idea actually works. When cycling, particularly in the morning, these glasses still fog over. I've been wearing them in excess of a month now, and I can't tell any discernable difference/advantage in this regard (fogging up). All the same, they're light, stylish, and stay on your face. It's hard to ask for much more, particularly for the price.

I absolutely love these shades, in fact this is the second pair I have bought in the last 6 months. They are very light and comfortable and the fact that you can change the lenses is also nice. I have gotten many compliments on them, especially because I purchased the neon green color which hardly anybody else has. I generally use them for snow-skiing, mountain biking, hiking, riding my sea-doo, and just riding around town. I was riding my Sea-Doo at around 72 mph and they actually stayed on until I looked down to see if the dry box was open. They flew off and unfortunately they don’t float. Other then that, these are great specs. Enjoy.

The Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses are lightweight, comfortable, and provide excellent protection from the sun-especially the bright Florida sun. The design makes them practical and comfortable for sports and outdoor activities. They are also cool looking!

Usually evaluating a sunglass is based on fit and lens clarity. With the Scoop though, I just have to say these are the most comfortable sunglasses I've ever worn. The thick rubberized earpieces are flexible, comfortable, hold onto your head well, but don't rip your hair out when taking them off. The nosepiece sits lightly and comfortably on your face. And they are supa stylin'...love em.

These are fine for driving around and sitting at the beach. For major activities, I will use another style. They seem to fog up on me. Maybe someone else will have better luck with them. The ear piece is very comfy.

Great pair of glasses. Lightweight, well vented, and the rubber grips on the arms keep 'em in place.

Okay, I'm a bit of a sunglass junky. This is my second pair from Spy and this fit as great as the first pair I bought (and still wear) over 10 years ago. I wear them riding my mountain and road bikes, hiking, softball, and driving. The amber lens is nice for low light conditions as well as bright sunlight. It is hard for me to find sunglasses that fit my head as nice as these do. I wish I had bought more than one pair.

They rock! I love em. The lenses are lighter colored than all my other specs, so they're good for those hazy days, especially when I'm flying.

These glasses are perfect for my morning workouts! The lenses are really nice, and an added bonus is that they have become my second set of motorcycle glasses - they have such a perfect fit, they keep all the wind out of my eyes. My only complaint is that when I slow down, at the end of a workout, they tend to fog up. But I can deal with that.

Glasses are great, the fit is excellent and they don't hurt the nose after extended wear. I was surprised they didn't hurt actually, since there are no nose pads on these specs. During sports which I get really sweaty they tend to slip down a bit since there are no pads, but they are a good enough fit to where this really isn't an issue.
My Scoops have the orange lens, which are a lot better than I was expecting in bright sunlight. If you are purchasing for bright sunlight exclusively, go with a darker lens, but I've worn these without any trouble driving, etc.
Highly recommended!

I bought these for my wife for trips to the beach. The styling is definitely sportier than the wire-rims she usually wears and really looks sharp. The frames are snug and don't slip off, even after applying sunscreen and sitting in the sun, and should be very durable since they're thick plastic. The lenses are interchangeable, which means she can order darker tints and swap out to suit outdoor conditions. The glasses as a whole are very light, comparable to most high-end polycarb sunglasses, and stay in place. Overall, a good pair of sunglasses at a very good price.

These are great shades for hiking and mountain biking. Interestingly, they are mirrored and tinted darker grey above the horizon line and light blue below so it diffuses the long distance glare yet allows you to see where you are walking or riding. (Same principle as a graduated neutral density filter for photo lenses.) Plus the arms have a rubber edge so they never want to fall off.

I got my first pair of the Scoop HS Sunglasses with different lenses from a friend after she broke a pair of another type of shades I had. I am a freeride mountain biker and every time was out biking, all my riding buddies and people I don't even know would comment on how really cool my Spy Scoop sunglasses were. However, the frame on the first pair broke after wear and tear in all type of riding conditions. I tried other pairs of sunglasses, but they just didn’t measure up to the Spy scoop sunglasses. So I purchase this pair myself.

These sunglasses are beautiful, light, and work well in all situations. They have actually sort of even replaced my driving sunglasses (Persol), that's how much I love these sunglasses.
The only con about these sunglasses is the fact they don't have nose pads. I use them for my road cycling, and once sweat builds on your nose, they start to slide down and you constantly have to push them up. Other than this, they're flawless.

I snagged a pair of these with some polarized lenses (shades are interchangeable) for fishing. These things are so much more that fishing glasses. Used for biking, running, hiking as well; no fog. Pretty light frame, very comfortable, and hot as The Man himself. Good for any activity, take my word for it.
