Smith Hustle Helmet
Smith combined the clean style of its Holt Helmet with the high-tech features you get in the Variant Brim to create the Hustle. The Smith Hustle Helmet features Bombshell ABS construction that helps protect your head in high-impact crashes and venting options for maximum comfort. The helmet's eight top vents are three-stage-adjustable, so you can decide how much or how little airflow you want. The Hustle's eight side vents have removable plugs that you can remove for those warm spring days on the mountain. Smith's AirEvac 2 system channels moist air from your goggles over your helmet, so your lens stays fog-free.
Bottom Line: You only get one brain.

First of all the delivery to Europe was very fast, so kudos to BC.
The helmet itself; i love it. Fits great, it's light, comfortable, keeps my ears warm, has good ventilation. Together with the Smith Prodigy goggle its a cool lookin combo.
Try it on...

This helmet is a really nice comfortable fit and as far as I've tried fits really well with a lot of different goggles. It is true that it is a bit more bulky than most, but when you have your ski gear on it doesn't really look all that weird, and if you wear a puffy coat or a couple layers you won't even notice the difference. Also, I am really picky about wind getting into helmets and making my ears cold and freezing my forehead, and this helmet is really good with a tight fit on the ears and up against the goggles to keep the dome warm.

This helmet is a great fit- keeps my ears warm and protects me from whatever may come my way (an errant chair at stowe when my girlfriend dragged me in front of it). Also prevents gaper gap because we all know thats the bane of all helmets. I know some may say that it looks bobbleheaded but I never had that problem especially when paired with a puffy. And the eco doesnt has a cocona liner which helps it not stink after a few days of not showering. Woot!
Will my Smith Variant headphones fit on the hustle?

The Hustle and Varian helmet lines have somewhat different ear pads. For the Hustle you need the Twin Tip or Bombshell lines of audio accesorries. Check out these Backcountry.com item numbers (just put them in the search bar and click "Go"): SMI0593, SMI0594, and SMI0409.

This helmet is great! I wear a Large (big head) and the helmet looks fine. I have seen it on other people and it looks normal. All the Smith helmets are great and warm, but you can open the vents if it is a little toasty, which is does get. I ride in sub zero weather (CO and Whistler) and spring conditions and i haven't been cold or hot, just adjust the vents. Oh, and i don't wear a hat, then the helmet would look too big because i would have to get a size larger. Maybe the helmet is just proportional on me (6'2" 175). Not sure though. Anyway, Smith all the way when it comes to head gear, i paired my white Hustle with the Wall Street Pinstripe I/Os.

Just picked this up last week and it's a great helmet. Was able to open vents on warmer days to stay cool. Also, tried several L and XL helmets that had pressure points on the front of my head. The Smith was adjustable and really comfortable for all day riding. Would recommend this helmet to anyone.

This helmet does everything that it's supposed to do..... evcept look good. This helmet for sure gives you the bobble head look. I usually take out the ear flaps and wear a beanie underneath but when you do that it makes the helmet look like a kippa. If you're looking for function over style then this is the helmet for you.

Feels good on my head, I love how you can adjust it, makes for perfect fit everytime. Works well with all goggles. Pretty cool looking at the same time.

I would not recommend this helmet. First it is huge. I mean you will look like the Great Gazoo (from the Flintstones) with it on. That's how I look in the mirror and that's how other people with the same helmet look. I have an extra large head and have worn an XL Red Skycap helmet for about 7 years which fit perfectly. The Hustle helmet in size L feels (and looks) like it should be called XXXL. It also does not keep my head warm at all. It's as if the helmet is made to be worn with a hat underneath? Needless to say, I am switching back to my 7 year old Red Skycap.
Riding with it tomorrow

I can definitely see what you mean that it looks bulky. However, I put my jacket on to try and make everything more proportional as compared to just wearing a t-shirt and I saw that it isn't nearly as dorky. It's still a bit large but I'm gonna rock it this weekend and see how I dig it. If not I'll exchange it for the variant or something. Maybe a Giro but sacrifice the bluetooth, idk.

Overall great helmet. Very warm helmet, but vents work well on warm spring days to keep your head cool(I've used it from 10 degrees up to 55 degrees and been completely comfortable). Very comfortable and light weight, so I barely even notice its on.
pretty nice

This is a pretty nice helmet. Warm and very light. Fits my anon gogs just fine. Only complaint is that it is pretty wide. I felt like a bobble head out the first few times but got used to it. Now it's normal and I'm diggin it.
