Smith Scope Pro Goggle

Affordable performance is the vision driving the Smith Scope Pro Goggle. Fully-sealed dual lenses combat fogging and block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays, while the helmet-compatible frame and dual slide adjustable strap create a hassle-free fitting experience. The Scope Pro's compression-molded single layer face foam and active airflow ventilation keep you riding in comfort all day long.

Bottom Line: More goggle for your dollar.

Looking for some snowboard goggles for my daughter. What lense styles. Probally want an all around lense. Never know what type of day it might be. Does it come with extra lenses? What is the best option. Thanks

theres no extra lens so the best choice would be gold lite: "Multi-purpose lens tint filters reflected blue light to provide superior contrast, shadow definition and depth perception in bright, overcast and flat light conditions"

Well the frame you buy is sort of a style-based decision, but I'd suggest something from Smith's spherical series. The best lens for low light conditions is hands down the Sensor Mirror from Smith. I don't know how it works but it's a pink lens with a blue mirrored coating and in low light it looks brighter than through your bare eyes. I assume Oakley has an equivalent, but I don't know what it is. Some suggestions would be the Prodigy, Phenom, and I/O, all from Smith and if you're in flat light a lot, you NEED the Sensor mirror.

Great fit, small to medium faces. The price on these is awesome, considering they are Smith's. High quality, great colors to choose from. And lots of lens choices so you can get what would suit your needs. Ended up getting the RC36 lens with the Raspberry frame, sweet goggles. The RC36: The universal lens tint. Combines rose and copper base tints. Provides the absolute best vision in most conditions. Increases depth perception and cuts glare in all conditions.

GREAT BUY

By:
January 7, 2009

I only ski a couple of times a year and every year a buy an expensive pair of goggles only to misplace them and thus have to replace them. i bought these smiths because io figured the price point was much more practical. i was surprised and impressed with their quality. I'm really sensitive to sunlight and was worried about the effectiveness of the lenses, but was pleased that they worked great. They were comfortable and resilient in ice and snow. All in all, great goggles for the price

I need a goggle lens that works in the bright sun but helps with the wicked cold in Colorado. Does the smith Ignitor Mirror fit this need? Something else? Flat light lenses burn my eyeballs

The ignitor mirror lens isn't great for bright light. You want the Sol-X mirror, Gold Sol-X, or Platinum Mirror.
