they were actually a gift for my wife turns out they look great as sometimes shopping online can be a crap shoot. smith optics rule,so does my wife.

Will these keep eyes protected from snow blindness?

Neither of the lenses currently available are dark enough for any length of glacier travel. You should probably look into some glacier goggles or other snow-specific eyewear.
