Smith Super Method Sunglasses - Polarized

The Smith Super Method Polarized Sunglasses let you focus on the facts by cutting out the glare. Any bright flat surface overloads your retinas with too much information, meaning you can't clearly see the road or the wakeboarder you're supposed to be spotting. Smith's distortion-free optics in the Super Method Sunglasses filter out the extra light so you can see what's going on. The Super Method's big wrap-around frame also blocks ambient light so you're eyes can relax.

Bottom Line: Smith's Method Polarized give you big wrap-around frames with glare-cutting polarized lenses.

The Super Methods are Super Sick

These are by far the best pair of sunglasses I've worn that were at some point re-birthed from the river. Once I scrubbed the muck and grime from the lenses, I was blocking those harsh UV rays from my lady-killer eyes. And, the lenses don't even show any signs of abuse. Sweet! Now I wanna upgrade to some polarized lenses. Gotta keep raking in those gratuities on the river!

It's hard to explain how green something is, but maybe try searching for these on the internet to find other pictures. Usually the picture is pretty accurate though in determining how it's going to look when you actually get them.

Wife's happy - I'm happy

I got a pair of these for my wife. She loves them. They also have the benefit of being polarized, along with the wrap around design, which reduce glare - yet remain stylish.

Super Shades

Excellent glasses all-around! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for polarized glasses that can be worn for virtually everything with no problem. The polarized lenses' optical quality is top-notch - great for days on the water, driving or riding your bike. The Super Methods are lightweight and quite durable - I haven't had issues with them slipping off - add some Croakies and you'll never have to worry. The fit is what I would describe as med to med-wide and the coverage is generous.

Are the Super Methods for male or female?

Are the Super Methods for male or female?

I'm the smith rep and it seems we get this question a lot. The first response is glasses are made for people to rock!!! If you can rock it, you can wear it. Typically this is a med to large frame and most men seem to prefer this, as opposed to the method, the slightly smaller piece. However just because you have a small or larger head doesn't really mean they are male or female, it means wear what fits.DakkaGuru says: Temple to Temple= 7"lens width= 2.5"lens height= 1 3/4"arm length= 4 3/4"

I've found the frame to be a little small for me when chillin' on the town or beach (I'm a guy, large head) because I like a bigger, fatter looking style. But as a technical shade (ski touring or hiking) the smaller frame gives me a closer fit, I notice them less, and I can move more freely without them bouncing which is nice.

I think its a classic design that will be around for a while.

Not Cool

By:

I thought these would be a great pair of stylish, large sunglasses with the great benefit of being polarized! Instead they made me look like a granny! The large, wraparound frame was not flattering. My boyfriend tried them on and they looked better on him. Still not worth the money.

Excellent and comfortable

Great all around glasses. Have used them for hiking, skiing and biking. Lightweight and comfortable, they also fit a larger sized head without putting pressure on the temple/ear area.

Slick

By:

Good looking, actual performance in the sun is reasonable. FYI I have a sz XL (59-62) head and the frames pinch a bit alongside my ears and temple. Other than that, slick.

Awesome glasses, AWESOME coverage

This shades prevent ANY leakage of light into my eyes. If you have a larger face and need mad coverage, get them, you wont be disappointed. Go polarized, or go home

Favorite glasses of all time

By: Backcountry.com Employee

So no matter what crazy trendy glasses I get or crazy colored ones I inevitably always come back to these. I have had a few pair and you can't beat the coverage they give while still being super stylie. Always a favorite.
