Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones
The tiny Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones help you phase out chatter on the bus and psych up for a skate-park sesh. In-line volume control lets you get just the right amount of thump, and the noise-reduction sleeve ensures the passing cars' radios don't interfere with your stoke.
Bottom Line: More music, less background noise.

Heads Up: No In-line Volume Control

They're definitely a good pair of earbuds for 20 bucks. They hold up for a while, stay in your ears quite well, and put out pretty good sound for their size. Despite what the description says, they don't actually have in-line volume control (check out their big cousins, the smokin' buds, if you've got your heart set on that).
anybody know when these will be back in stock by chance? I need
anybody know when these will be back in stock by chance? I need a good pair of headphones to run with that wont slip, looks like these might be the ones.

Possible: Cheap With Good Quality?
By: soylentgreen
June 24, 2009
Yeah, I was shocked, but it is in fact possible. The sound quality is above average for buds, clearly moreso than the standard ipod ones. The play loud and do a decent job blocking out outside noise. Best part? Maxing out at 20 bucks, you can afford to rock a number of them if they get lost/destroyed/stolen.
However, they do NOT have in-line volume control, which wouldn't have bothered me so much if they were upfront about it on the site. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the buds do sometimes have a tendency to fall out if your hat isn't pulled down over them, especially trail running or skiing without a helmet.

Best earbud I have found to fit under a ski helmet. I like not having a built in sound system, mostly because they cost way more than they are worth, and this filled the hole in my riding for me. They are great, compact buds, with the awesome sound quality I expect from Skullcandy. Cool, muted colours round out a decent, low priced package with only one thing missing, the in-line volume control like the Smokin' Buds and other Skullcandy products. Maybe in the future this will change.

Backcountry ships to the UK, just not all brands. I am pretty sure they ship Skullcandy, but you can ask one of the customer service people in the chat now to be sure.

These headphones are good and very expendable. After several months the cord started to sever internally near the input jack but at the low price for the sound quality, I don't mind having to replace them once or twice every year.
Great headphones

Great ear buds for the price, I have had the same pair for 2 years now. They have a habit of falling out if you don't get them in just right. You will probably need to take them out if you talk on the lift because they block a lot of sound.
Awesome!

I got these in red and have never owned a better head phone! And the noise reduction works!
So well in fact you really can get into the zone to the point you are not aware of what is going on around you!

I first bought the skull candy g.i. and love them. My girlfriend had a pair of the ink'd buds and had me listed to them. Needless to say i decided to get some buds! Although not as good quality as the full metal jacket but, these buds are cheap and will rock your mind.
They are so-so

I liked how they headphones seemed comfy in the ears... when they stayed in. They were always falling out. Even when I used them to fly during the holidays they kept falling out. It was pretty dang annoying. Then, the cord leading to the earphone just fell out one day. The sound quality was good for the money, but I will not buy these again. What a waste!
Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones - Good for the price, no in-line volume

for the price, these skullcandy headphones are fine. they are comfortable ear canal headphones, reduce outside noise and don't really leak any sound. dynamic range is fine, but again, these are $20 headphones. my one issue is that there is no in-line volume control, which is useful for physical activity.

For the price, ther is no way you can beat these. I throw them in my gym bag and off I go. Sound great, you won't go wrong.
Cheap and good sound

If you're looking fora cheap sound isolating head phones these will do the job. They are sound isolating in the same way that ear plugs are, which i find nice. These headphones stay in fine during no jarring activities walking around, riding a bike, lifting. They have a tendency to fall out during more jarring activities such as running. The build quality is reflected by the price: cheap. The plastic around the jack is concerning especially if your one to wrap your phones around your music player.
SC Ind'd a great deal.

OK, these are not Skull Candy full metal jackets, but they're 1/3 of the price. I'm ROUGH on headphones, tearing out plugs, and losing them. I trashed my FMJs twice so decided to go a little cheaper with the Ink'd.
There are NO better headphones at the price than these. Toss your ipod phones in the trash. These are better than ANY original equipment phones that come with the players. They block out exterior noise and give you great bass. When you crank the music, you can't hear anything else. Great most of the time, esp at the airport and on a plane, a little unsafe if you're running on the road. As far as the buds backing out, mine came with 3 different size plugs, you may have to fiddle with them a little for the right fit. Bottom line, best buds at the price!!
a lot for no money

My wife got these for running, great sound, crisp highs, and bass'y lows, BUT, they go into your ear canal, basically canceling out all outside noise. There basically earplugs with music. Good if your running a chain saw or around jet engines all day...but not so great if you would like to hear a car horn or a mountain biker letting you know he's passing on the left.

These do good for the price, but do not include an in-line volume control as indicated. If you are looking for a pair of cheap standard ear buds, then here you go. I had previously complained with the company about the innacuracy of the description of the item and was told that no where in the desc. did it say in-line volume control. Kind of hard to say anything when i am sitting here looking at it."The tiny Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones help you phase out chatter on the bus and psych up for a skate-park sesh. In-line volume control lets you get just the right amount of thump, and the noise-reduction sleeve ensures the passing cars' radios don't interfere with your stoke."
a complete waste

These headphones look cool and sound great when they are in. Unfortunately they do not stay in while riding. The design of the headphones is based around the little rubber grommit that fits around the bud and conforms to the ear. These grommits come off very easily and can disappear without a trace, and when theyre gone, they are gone and you have to call skullcandy to order more. I rode with these headphones twice and battled them the whole way. Every hit I was fking with them. Super Annoying, easily breakable and a waste of money. Go buy some around the ear headphones if you are looking for some comfortable sound on the mountain.

I just got the smoking buds in red, and they are amazing. great sounds, noise cancelling, and lifetime warranty. the only down side is there is not a volume control on the headphones like on the regular smokin' buds
