Hi, have a fairly new set of pads for Shimano M-765 XT brakes with about 10 rides on them, but they still howl! Its great that everyone knows I'm coming down the trail at speed, but I'm going deaf! help!

Have you tried cleaning your rotors? (easily done before each ride with an alcohol prep pad)

Are they metal or resin pads, metal ones last longer but they are Loud.
