Shimano America Disc Brake Adaptors - Post Mount

If you're running post-mount forks (that's most forks these days), or rare post-mount rear frame tabs on your ride, you'll need these adaptors to mount up your Shimano disc brake calipers. They come in front or rear mount, and multiple sizes to fit all Shimano rotors. Sold individually.

Bottom Line: Mounting your brakes incorrectly is bad news, so make sure you have the right adaptors.

I'm comfused, the item # shi0108 fits in a post mount fork with IS caliper and 160 mm rotor?

this adapter is to convert the post style mounts to shimano style mounts. If you have a 160 mm rotor, choose the Front 160. Or get a new fork.
