Shimano America XT Front Derailleur

Shimano America XT Front Derailleur
Thanks to its wide pivot link design, the Shimano XT Front Derailleur offers improved strength and responsive shifting. Angled adjustment screws make screwdriver access easy. The XT's modified cage tail shape provides plenty of tire clearance, and the dual pull design works with top or bottom cable routing.
Bottom Line: Make your shifts crisp and clean with Shimano's XT Front Derailleur.

This derailleur has angled set screws, so you can adjust it according to your particular frame design. Handy? I think so.

Will this particular model work on a 2008 Diamondback Insight WSD?

Yes, this should work on an Insight, but it's honestly kind of overkill given the other componentry that comes on the Insights.
I'd love to be able to help you out and see if this kind of derailleur is really what you're needing and what purpose it'd serve (other than just shifting).
If something broke on your bike and it's an '08, it probably qualifies for warranty. Either work with the place you bought it from, or e-mail me (my shop works with Raleigh USA/Diamondback).
