The Shimano SH-WR80 Women's Cycling Shoe has carbon fiber, heat moldable heel and footbed customization, and female-specific lasting designed for elite women riders. A narrow heel and forefoot last provides better hold in conjunction with the anti-slip uni-directional liner fabric, so you'll never experience power loss during hard sprints and climbs. Underneath, a built-in channel scoops in cooling air along the footbed, and the asymmetrical triple straps prevent pinching on your instep, so you'll always be ready to reap the benefits of the stiff, full carbon fiber soleplate underfoot.

High Price, High Comfort

I have problem feet (over pronate, low arches, bunions, etc.), so properly fitting shoe is critical. So far so good - have ridden a 68 mi and an 85 mi ride, along w/ shorter rides, and have found these to be very comfortable. The wide toe box is a big plus for me - other brands (esp Sidi) are too narrow. Plus they look great. Price is high, but so far I am pleased. The guys at my local bike shop don't think Shimanos last long, but maybe it's because they're using the cheap shoe (they don't carry the higher end models). I haven't yet done the custom heat molding, which should make things even better.
