Scarpa Hurricane Ski Boot - Men's

Freeriders rejoice—the Scarpa Men's Hurricane AT Boot is here and ready to lay waste to the entire mountain. Wear this stiff, four-buckle AT boot to charge any line with confidence. V-Frame power-ribs on the cuff give the Hurricane the stiffness to handle steep descents without adding weight, so the tour up won't feel like a death march. An interchangeable DIN-standard Vibram Ride rubber sole allows you to use your alpine touring bindings in the backcountry and your regular alpine bindings for days in the resort. When you need extra security kick-stepping up an icy chute, use the interchangeable lug sole for extra traction. Scarpa even included a lateral cant adjustment so you can dial in the boot for optimal edge control and an Intuition Speed liner for warmth and an out-of-the-box fit.

Bottom Line: The Scarpa Hurricane AT boot is here and ready to blow your sick, twisted, powder-addicted mind.

I bought these boots here about a month ago for a fantastic price, including free shipping.Great service, fast shipping. I fit the boots myself, using instructions for heat molding I got from the internet. The fit is perfect for me. I normally wear a US size 8. I bought the smallest size available (26)even though I would have probably bought a 25, the 26 fits me perfect, with room for my toes. These are the best ski boots I have owned.(I skied ten years + on Raichle Flexon comps) Very comfortable, I can ski in them all day without even realizing they are on my feet. (Including hiking for an hour to reach a back bowl). These are pretty stiff, but with a very nice, even flex. Great boots for larger skis like the Volkl Mantra I ski on. These are my resort/BC boots with the Mantra's and Marker Dukes. I have lighter skis and boots for longer tours. I installed the Lug soles right away. That is the only minor issue I have with these boots. The screws are not quite adequate for the job. I inadvertently put the short screws in the wrong holes (not rrealizing there are different lengths) and stripped a couple of the holes in the plastic shell. I ended up using Marine Goop to glue the soles and screws to the boots, which seems to work fine. Not too sure what will happen when I need to replace them. I had contacted Scarpa to ask if there should have been included an owners manual with the boots, and ask if there was any specific instructions for installing the soles but they weren't too helpful. All in all, very good boots and I highly recommend the boots and this site.

Got my Hurricanes from here about 2 weeks ago (killer price). Got them professionally fitted with footbeds and "Cooked" by Larry's Boot Fitting in Boulder, CO. Most comfortable, well performing boot I've owned in 30+years of skiing. Can do both AT and Alpine equally well. Wouldn't want to walk a long way in them, but for short approach. Light, precise, adjustable lean and cant. I'm selling my Salomon alpine boots.

Awesome boot, probably the best alpine boot on the market! Extreme boot stiffness is fantastic for steep or extreme skiing. If you want to get maximum energy to your skis this is the boot. Added features of interchangeable boot soles and boot adjustments are nice. Only words of wisdom are that these boots have lots of volume in the foot area, be careful when sizing. I have an average size foot but the volume was too much for me.
