Scott Tartan Ski Pole - 2008

Inspired by traditional Scottish plaid, the Scott Tartan Ski Pole charges like William Wallace on the war path. Scott gave this performance pole its signature Re-Entry strap and R2 grip for comfort and feel, and used S2 aluminum for a lightweight and durable shaft.

Almost but not quite

Pros: awesome grip, convenient straps, tips punch through anything, looks cool

Cons: small baskets, flimsy

Used these bad boys for a month and change. Just the other day I was charging a steep and planted in a mogul - snapped right in half. Funny because before the Tartan's I had a $20 pair of Kerma bargain-bins and they could handle what the Tartan's couldn't.

These poles are as good as the series four, have a better grip and look sick. Save yourself some money and buy these!
