Scott Team Issue Series 4 Ski Poles - 2007

If your ski style tends to bend poles and blow by those orange slow-down signs, grab Scott's Team Issue Series 4 Poles. These aircraft-grade aluminum alloy poles stand up to your aggressive nature on the slopes. With a colored grip and shaft, the Team Issue Poles are easy to spot when you emerge from a mid-day beverage break, and the Racing Diamond Tips won't wear down to useless nubs after a few seasons.

Bottom Line: The Scott Team Issue Series 4 Ski Poles are ready for those who are on the seek-and-destroy team.

Mmmm...Lime Green!

These throwbacks to old-school 80's style bring back memories of my childhood with their fluorescent color scheme and white leather straps. I mean, who doesn't remember the tough-as-nails Scott competition poles as the top freestylers and racers flashed laps under your favorite liftlines? Well...man up, buy these poles, and start rippin' some newschool lines down to the ski bunnies waitin' at the bottom!

Obviously, you can tell that these poles will come out great in photos, but their functionality is top notch: great grip, very sturdy, and durable.

Scott Poles and Highland Bowl

This photo was taken from the bench at a good buddy's shrine that was recently established on Aspen mountain. It overlooks the Highlands Bowl, where these Scott Team Issue Poles just fit right in to the picture!

If you are hard on your poles, you will love the Scott team poles. Very sturdy. I couldn't be happier.**2nd OpinionThe Series 4 poles produced by Scott are nearly impossible to break. I have skied in freeskiing competitions for a number of years and have racked up my fair share of big crashes. I have never had a Scott Team issue pole break on me. Although, my body has been left bruised and beaten...

The perfect pole...

By:
October 17, 2008

I've never had a pole that made it through the season as straight as in the beginning like this one. It's tough and light, with a sweet grip. Plus it looks cool!

Old School

By:
December 23, 2008

I was looking for a pole with a leather strap like the old Scott World Cup racing poles we used to get from the rep for $15 back in the day. These are them, same pole, same pistol grip. Some gaper ran over them in the parking lot and bent the bottom 3". I bent them back and have had no problems. Indestructible, light, stiff, good balance.... Whatever.. there poles, not the most technical piece of ski gear
