Salomon Snowclog 3 - Men's
Slip on the Salomon Men’s Snowclog 3 after an epic but cold day on the mountain. Thinsulate insulation brings your toes back to their toasty selves while the water-resistant suede-leather upper helps make sure they stay that way. A neoprene collar around the ankle guards against snow and slush creeping in. Count on the burly Contagrip rubber sole to keep you steady as you stroll around town.
Bottom Line: First, second, and third time’s a charm.

Best Shoe on the Planet!

This is my 3rd pair that I have owned over the years. Nothing is better on snow and ice. I live in Canada, it is necessary to wear good footing shoes/boots etc.
However, I did read the previous reviews about ordering a size or 2 larger than what a person would normally wear.
THIS IS FACT, GREAT ADVICE! I would have owned a shoe too small if I had not read the other reviews.
If you want a great comfortable and secure footing shoe, this is it, just order larger than your normal size.
Rock On!
I have a pair of original Snow Clogs. Is the fit in this version
I have a pair of original Snow Clogs. Is the fit in this version the same, or should I order a larger size?

Sizing runs small

I recently replaced my v1 2000 Snoclogs with the SC 3.
Just an FYI, these run REALLY small. I'm normally a size 11 across the board and ordered these in 11 which is also the size of 2000 clogs. Both the US 11 & 11.5 don't fit and I've gone with the 12.
Good Folks, My eruo size is 42. I read these run small. What

Rule of thumb says you should get a U.S. 9, the review posted above says you should size up and get a U.S. 10.

I wore the old 2000 model for years, and loved every minute of it. The newer Snowclog 3's are definitely an improvement, and I am very pleased--one caveat, you definitely want to get at least a half size larger than you're used to, especially if you've worn the older Snowclogs--all that comfortable extra padding and insulation makes them quite a bit snugger than the older models at the same size, so that a size 10 really fits like a size 9.5 used to. That being said, the Snowclog 3's are comfortable, warm, have great traction, and have a better looking design than the older clogs. They also don't have that useless little loop at the top of the heel that just folds down into the shoe every time you pull it on--this is a good thing.
Jump on the "live chat". They'll be able to look up if they're on order and a rough expected arrival date.

difficult to get on... go a least 1/2 size larger than you normally wear....they do not breath well.. if you are over 220lbs you can feel the high contour grip sole pushing into you feet.... narrow and not very comfortable
great for going to the mail box
Seems like everyone recommends going bigger. I usually wear
Seems like everyone recommends going bigger. I usually wear a 10.5, but sometimes take an 11 depending on the shoe. Would you recommend going to an 11 or an 11.5 in my case?

I'd recommend going bigger. I usually wear an 8-1/2, so I ordered a size 9 for my Snowclogs. I reckoned that it would be easier to wear a second pair of socks than to endure too small shoes, but they fit fine.

I'm very pleased with the Snowclog 3. Since we typically get 153+ inches of snow each year, I wanted shoes that I can slip on and off easily and that will keep my feet warm while I shovel out. So far the Snowclog 3 shoes are great.

The best thing is to get on either "live chat" or shoot customer service an email so they can look into it. They're the best ones for that info.

Important requirement for a comfortable fit!

Based on customer reviews, I ordered a size 7 for my wife who normally wears a size 6 & a 9.5 for myself my usual size being 9.
My wife's shoes fitted perfectly & she loves them. Mine were so tight that my big toe was bent out of shape causing considerable pain. I refrained from calling customer service, deeming it inadvisable to talk to anyone while in a seething rage! The following morning as I was preparing to return them, my wife suggested trying them again & added make sure that the wad of tissue paper in the toe is removed!! What wad of paper said I? Sure enough jammed into the toe section was a wad of 'Tissue' paper, what a difference to the comfort level that made. The fit is perfect & we are both very happy with them. Buyer be warned!
Seriously, order large

Seriously... if you go for these, do not ignore sizing comments; go at least a full size up for a normal fit with a normal sock on.
I went +.5 size and the fit is snug at the tow when standing, but noticed that when you put weight on the shoe and walk a little room is created as the sole flexes.
I am now wishing there were more comments on performance than sizing, if I keep them I will ad later after Rocky Mountain tested.
Think snow!

A great update of what's gotta be one of the original snow-clogs in the business. The higher back heel is great, as is the slip-on pull-loop, which actually works on this shoe. Buy it a half-size larger than your usual - feet will not swim around, and you'll find them MUCH easier to pull on. And you can actually dress them up, at least a bit (for a snowclog).
All in all, highly recommended - I worry slightly about the long-term durability of the pull-loop, but otherwise expect that I'll have these for a long, long time.
Make sure you order full size bigger

I have worn snowclog 2 for a year and love them as they kept my feet warmer than an athletic shoe. This year I ordered the snowclog 3 and find them much warmer than snowclog 2. I read reviews and I ordered 1/2 size larger than my snowclog2. I had to return them and order a full size larger as the snowclog 3 was measurably shorter than the snowclog2.
The only con is that the snowclog has a tendency to be a little slippery on wet cement.
