Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boot - Women's

The Salomon Women's Ivy Snowboard Boot keeps you rooted tightly to your snowboard for precision handling on any terrain. The Ivy grows from the ground up with a women's-specific sole, last, and liner for a deluxe fit. Salomon's Biocage liner reduces calf pinching, which lets intermediate freeriders focus on progression, not painful feet. Salomon even included a little extra insulation in the toes to accommodate female rippers that tend to get cold feet after a day of riding. Slip on the Ivy Snowboard Boots, tug the one-pull Powerlace pro system, and step your riding up a notch. *Sizes are in Mondo.

Bottom Line: Watch your skills grow in the Salomon Women's Ivy Snowboard Boot.

great boots

I learned in these boots and have 4 pairs of different year models - 2 from 05 1 from 07 and 1 from 08. The boots hold up very well - different versions are more solid than others - the 05 ones lasted for about 250 days each...the 07 model started packing out a lot after 100 days and they're my backup right now, and the 08 model is doing well so far, but only has roughly 60 days on them (but they're still in pretty good condition aka look almost new). I went down a half size, so maybe that will prevent packing out for longer. The boots fit well in burton bindings (lexas and escapades), but don't work well with salomon bindings (maybe i just don't like them...)- tried the poisons (06, 07), antidote(07), and relays (07) - and none of them fit properly (tried small and medium in each).

OUCH

This boot was not as comfortable as I was hoping. It put pressure on the medial side of my calf and I had not even started riding yet. They are a lot more bulky than the picture shows. There are 2 different draw strings for your lacing system. the inside draw string just dangles there with no space to fit it anywhere. The handle of the main lace system is nice and easy to pull. the best thing about the boot is the fur lining.

Most comfortable boot I've ever worn

By:

I have have the following boots which either caused calf bruising or shin pain/brusing: Northwave Freedom (cause arch pain); K2 T1 (calf pain and the tongue would always slide to the side); and DC Judge (shin bruises from the boa knob and toe pain). The Salomon Ivy is the only boot that enabled me to go a full day 9-4pm w/o any pain in ANY part of my foot or leg. I only wish I'd discovered this boot four years ago when I began riding. The boot is true to regular foot size (for me anyway).
