Salomon Vertigo Hiking Shoe - Women's

You love your softshell jacket for its comfort, breathability, and weather protection—you'll appreciate the Salomon Women's Vertigo Hiking Shoe for the same reasons. Salomon used the same material and construction on the Vertigo Hiking Shoe it uses in its high-end softshell jackets for great comfort during day hikes or trail runs in less-than-ideal conditions. Salomon's Ortholite liner contains an anti-microbial treatment and a breathable structure to keep your feet comfortable and stink-free on the trail, and the Vertigo's last is built specifically for women's higher arch and narrower heel. Salomon's Quickfit lacing system pulls tight for a precise fit with a simple tug.

Bottom Line: No matter the weather, hit the trail in the Salomon Vertigo Hiking Shoes.

The reviewer JDUB was right on about ordering a 1/2 size smaller. I went with that and ordered the 7 though I am normally a 7.5 for any shoe. They are so comfortable with no break-in time needed. They fit perfectly.

These shoes are fantastic! The Ortholite insoles are wonderful & add so much comfort to this shoe. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in womens but ordered an 8, which fit perfect. I would definitely suggest ordering a size down than what you normally wear.

they walk and hike well. the tongue sometimes digs into the front ankle, though, so running might get uncomfortable. also, running one size larger. i'm an eight, got an eight, returned for 7.5, which is still too roomy. note-i never wear a 7, but would be tempted if i was to order another pair.
