Salomon Trail Pro 2 Trail Running Shoe - Men's - 2007
Whether you're training for an adventure race or going for a quick trail run after work, the lightweight Salomon Men's Trail Pro 2 Running Shoe gives you ample cushioning, support, and stability. From single track to boulder fields to city streets, Salomon's SCS cushioning system reduces heel strike impact, controls pronation, and provides forefoot responsiveness that puts a spring in your step. Salomon's Quickfit lacing system works with Sensifit technology to give you a custom, pressure-point-free fit that cinches in an instant. As you skip through creeks and cruise down muddy trails, the Trail Pro 2 Shoes' breathable mesh uppers dry quickly, while their Running Contagrip soles provide bomber traction.
Bottom Line: The Salomon Trail Pro 2 Runners—running shoes that dance over anything the trail throws your way.

Salomon my new favorite shoe

Normally, I do not exceed $50 for running/walking shoes. At this price my Nike's were falling apart within weeks. Since I've discovered Salomon, my shoes last longer than I expect, and they fit me so much better...like mocassins! This shoe's lacing system is quick and easily adjustable. Do NOT wear ankle (low) socks with this shoe or you will get blisters.
Spiderman's Shoes!

This is good trail running shoe. I would really give it a 4.5. If it had a little more cushioning, I would have given it a 5. That said, it has great traction. I feel like Spiderman when I run in these (especially since they are red and black!) I recently ran a very steep trail race in which it was raining. I ran over many wet rocks and never once lost my footing. They also feel very stable in the heel. The shoes are very light and flexible as well. The laces are nice also, but I've not had them long enough to wear out or break. Overall, I would recommend this shoe for those looking for a lightweight trail runner.
Trail Pro 2 Rip Vail's Trails

I recently switched to the Salomon Trail Pro 2 for my daily: a mile of pavement before I hit Vail's trails. This is the perfect shoe for me light and well cushioned for pavement while stable and armored for trail. I havent experienced a pain point yet. Love the quick fit lace for fit tweeks.
Strange Fitting Shoe

I recently bought the Trail Pro 2 after having done extensive trail running in both the Salomon XA Pro and Montrail Hurricane Ridge. I have average width feet with average arches. The Trail Pro 2 has a very unusual fit for me. The heal cup was high on half of the inside which made my feet rotate with each step. Plus, the toe box is very long. Unlike the XA Pro, the lacing system just wouldn't tighten correctly.
