Keep a secure hold on your canine escape artist with the Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness. This ergonomic harness keeps your dog safely on a leash without choking or harming your dog. When your pup needs help getting over an obstacle in the backcountry or getting into high vehicles, the Web Master's secure top handle allows you to help lift your four-legged friend. Thanks to burly 500-denier nylon, the Web Master gives you years of service. Fleece-lined straps won't chafe or scratch your pooch's belly.

Bottom Line: Keep tabs on your furry-friend with the Ruffwear Web Master Harness.

Rx assistance? This is the BEST Harness, read on....

THANK YOU! I have used many Ruffwear products before, but this one is the BEST! My 13 year old lab has been diagnosed with a spinal/ arthritis issue that has severely impacted his mobility. We purchased the web master dog harness '08, and it is FABULOUS! We have three different veterinarians/ and animal hospitals for treating this condition, and other issues, and they are impressed as well. Since using this harness, we've had more than one doctor take it off, and go show it to other clients who need the same support. It's comfortable, easy to put on, and the handle and loop on the back and at the end help me assist my dog at standing and other 'duties' without losing his dignity when he needs assistance. I've recommended it to everyone, AND one Veterinary Hospital is considering keeping it in stock , or at least the info, to recommend to their patients. Again, I THANK YOU. I give it a 5 star rating because you don't offer 6 stars! Barbi, and Big Dog Cody, Pet Partners and Therapy Dog Team

Thanks snowgoat. This may seem dumb but, how does the harness...

Thanks snowgoat. This may seem dumb but, how does the harness go on? Do I need a PHD in doggy harnesses to get this on my pup. He's name is Cheechoo who happens to be a real kick butt ice hockey player and I don't want to make him look bad due to my inability to do anything mechanical. He is a star you know. Also, can they slip out of this harness? Cheech seems to be able to get out of anything that's not around his neck. Thanks for the input. Look forward to hearing from you or anyone else that has suggestions.

some improvements

I've used the ruff wear webmaster harnesses for a few years now. This model is the first '2008 version' I've tried and I do love a lot about it - the new fabric, brighter color of the red, reflective piping and 'stay put' padding. What I don't like is the lack of cohesion that the older model had. One piece didn't flex and move like this one. However, I still think they're the best harnesses around and am a fan. Dogs can't escape if they 'put on the breaks'. If I never used the old version I would have no complaints but if you can, buy the 2004-2007 version at a deal. Otherwise, and for night/road walkers, this is the way to go!

Perfect for a puller

By:

My dog loves to pull and I got this harness to take the stress off his neck and it did the trick. Now when he pulls, it is coming from a central spot on his back and not hurting him at all. This harness fits great, if your dog fits in between sizes I would recommend going a size up because the straps are adjustable and you can always tighten them a bit. Their fleece lining doesn't irritate him and he hasn't tried to squirm his way out of it yet either. Great for everyday walks as well as hikes.

I have a very furry Keeshond that likes to pull and I'm afraid that he might hurt his neck. Because of all his fur I need something that easy to put on. We're not what you would call hikers or campers, just me and my dog on nice long walks. Would you recommend a harness for him.

I got this harness for the very same reason and it has made walks sooo much easier. It's also comfortable because the straps are fleece-lined so they won't irritate your dog. Mine seems to like it and doesn't fuss when I put it on him.
