Rossignol Saphir Skating NIS W Ski - Women's
Destroy the competition and ski straight to the podium on the advanced- to expert-level Rossignol Women's Saphir Skating NIS W Ski. This Rossignol skate ski uses a numeric finished base for optimal gliding on any snow condition. Just choose your wax-type and haul ass on the track. The Racing Cobra shape gives the Saphir Skating NIS W Ski a free-flowing shape for lightning-quick returns to steering after kicking. This provides a solid and stable platform for high-energy racing when you need your best effort during a competition. Rossignol's Activ Cap construction combines a Rossicap layer for flexibility and easy tip and tail release, and a multidirectional fiberglass layer for added torsional stability. This combination gives you a solid base for big powerful kicks and a soft tip and tail to suck up inconsistencies in the track.
Bottom Line: Take your skate racing to the top of the podium.

170cm. The sizing chart referenced above really isn't clear. My wife was just fit for rossi skate skis last year and she's in your same weight range.

I am looking for a skate ski for a intermediate skier. i am 118 lbs and 5'1" . I am willing to pay for a good ski as it will likely be the one I use for many years. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Any suggestions. I am female.

Fischer RCRs are great skis. Should run about 225. They have the same sidecut and base as the RCS skis (550$). Not quite as light - but you'll never notice, I swear. Another great option is the Atomic Race Skate - same price range.
