Rossignol built the Raven Telemark Ski with their lightweight, yet powerful THC2 core. Float over the frosted flakes or clean your plate of crud—either way the Scratch Raven kills it. The fact that these skiis have not been reviewed over and over with stellar reviews is unbeliveable. Perhaps it is because they are a telemark ski. I mounted these with alpine bindings and to say the least I have been impressed. This year I have been on everything from groomers with my 6 year old to chest deep powder in an early dump at Solitude. These skiis perform, period. They hold an edge despite being 110 under foot and they float great. Being a telemark ski they are a bit soft, but I havent found that to be a problem. Another good thing is I havent seen another pair on any mountain.
