Rossignol X2 Touring Boot

The Rossignol X2 Touring Boot takes intermediate and entry-level cross country skiers for super-comfortable rides on and off the skate track. The reinforced heel locks you in for total ski control over varied snow conditions. Ski all-day without discomfort or foot fatigue thanks to the X2 Boot's nylon and metal-reinforced midsole, which gives you a solid platform that doesn't break down even after seasons of skiing. Stay comfortable and warm in this Rossignol boot and ski farther and harder than you ever have before.

Bottom Line: The Rossignol X2 Touring Boot gives the track a beating, not your foot.

Very good but runs two sizes smaller

I would say "highly" recommended if the boots were running a size smaller like with all EUR sizing, however, these run 2 sizes smaller or maybe 1.5 sizes smaller. I bought 40 hoping that it will be like 9.0 US that for my 8.5 with a nice sock should be very comfy. Well, the boots were like for 8.0 without socks. Also marked unisex, they are more likely made like a male model and are too hard too low for female ankle/calf built. But if they were the right size, I wouldn't be returning them since they are warm, have a snug fit inside, pretty looking and great design.
