Rome Anthem Snowboard

Rome built the Anthem Snowboard for riders who want a kick-ass high-end board that can stick with them no matter where they tear it up. If you start off the day by throwing down hard in the park but may end up hucking yourself off a backcountry cliff before last chair, then here's your board. The Anthem's Airpop core matrix kills it in edge-to-edge transitions and decreases the board's weight for easier spins. Bamboo inserts give you crazy pop in the park and pipe without causing too much torsional rigidity. This all-mountain board's super-fast SinterSpeed base give you greased lightning glide for throwing the sickest tricks over the biggest gaps, and full-wrap edges protect your sidewalls from rail-induced abuse.

Bottom Line: Ride it all and ride it hard on the Anthem.

Sick board!

I have not been too impressed with Rome lately. But I got to ride this for a day, felt great under foot, was solid off anything I hit and It was stable at high speed. If you are looking for a good all mountain board, this is a great choice.

Its been awhile since I've bought a new board but it was worth the wait. This board holds an edge like no other, has great pop, and is extremly light. The day after I bought it, I went up to the U.P. and took it down the biggest head walls I could find and it stayed stable, i never felt out of control. it is VERY capable of jibbing but i think its more for the all around Mt. rider who likes big jumps. Its just hard not to have fun on this board.

Best Board to Date

I've gone through three boards within two seasons and this is the best one yet. I finally found what I was looking for. Light, carves like butter, stable at high speeds, and great in the park. What more can you ask for from a board?

Rome Anthem 165

Great all round board, it is a little softer than I am used to but so far it is great. The flex adds to the pop in the park, but yet is stiff enough in the powder to be in control. I gave it a 4 because I have a slow learning curve and am still getting used to it...that is just me though it is a great board, very impressed!

Solid All Mountain Board

This board does as promised. It cuts well through the groomers, floats on the powder, and is light enough for some good park action. The board speed is quite possibly it's best feature, as it is the fastest board I have ridden to date. If you're looking for a great all mountain board, keep this open as one of your options!

Solid - what else would you expect?

Great, great, great board. I generally like park-oriented, all-mountain sticks (rode an ’07 Agent all last year), but after I demoed the Anthem (and Design) at the beginning of this season, I couldn’t help but pick it up… it was SO stable at speed as I was gunning down the trails, and you could carve the living daylights out of it. The board cut through the crud and mush when the temps were a little warm, and when the ice coast lived up to its name, it held an edge like a champ. I always felt stable and centered --- even when I got a little “stupid” on my runs, the Anthem kept me planted, and I rarely caught an edge. Comparatively speaking, the stick seems to have a lot more pop, and feels significantly lighter than last year’s model. This is definitely a worthy choice!
