How do the sizes run for the body armor (Red-impact waistcoat-women)....

How do the sizes run for the body armor (Red-impact waistcoat-women). What is S(4-6)? M (8-10) L (12-14)? Trying to fit my 13 year daughter. Went to JO's in Winter Park this year and is a dbl.black diamond fanatic. Makes me crazy. Help me out!
