Returning R.E.D audio ear pads

Super stoked with DF for all of my purchases and for handling this situation quickly. The ear pads sounded great, but they were so much bigger than the original ear pads. The looked ridiculous. The helmet already lames up my look, but the ear pads were totally tard. RED needs to readjust this. Thanks for your help.

RED helmet earphones - disappointed in connection

By: pink luna (3)

Ok so I purchased these to replace my ones that are 3 years old but the internal wires somehow got all messed up and the sound goes in and out... the sound is fine, you get what you pay for here. But the biggest disappointment is the cord connection to the actual headphone. It comes loose when you are snowboarding. I cannot believe that they have made this downgrade since the prior years headphone connection had a locking turn so they won't come loose when you're doing those tree runs! So sad that RED made a new thing that is a downgrade from their older models.

Nice sound, when it plays.

You may have noticed the majority of reviews for this item complain about the audio cutting out...because it does. I sent mine back to Red today, hopefully they'll actually fix them. If I had to do this over again knowing what I do now, I'd either consider the nicer subwoofer version (which may or may not have the same problem) or just stick with the earbuds under my helmet.

When it works....

I am on my THIRD Red Audio helmet. All of them the music has cut in/out of. Love the helmets fit function...and when the music does work it sounds great. Wish Burton could figure out how to fix this problem. On the up side, Burtons return policy and standing behind their product is THE BEST. Their Staff is as great as their products, with the exception of the Audio problem

Has issues, still like 'em

These things are delicate! Do not let the helmet hang by the cord as it will cause the audio to become intermittent, glad it didn't become a permanent problem on mine. The sound and comfort quality is awesome! Treat them with TLC and they'll be fine.

mine cut out too

Only difference with mine is it only took about ten minutes for the sound to cut out. Every time my coat touched the wire it sounded like a cd skipping.
