Pacific Outdoor Equipment Mega Mat Sleeping Pad

Pacific Outdoor Equipment built the InsulMat Mega Mat Sleeping Pad so two people can enjoy a luxurious night's sleep together. The Mega Mat also works well for a car-camper who likes room roll around during the night. The 2.5 inches of Cross-Core foam cushions and supports any couple (or rowdy sleeper). Cross coring increases air flow for quick inflation and deflation, reduces bulk, and delivers exceptional insulation. The surface is a unique non-slip, 75D air-textured fabric, which gives you a soft-to-the-touch feel and prevents the slip-and-slide effect. Pacific Outdoor Equipment made this pad with durable fabric, but they included a repair kit and a beefy stuff sack too.

Bottom Line: Pacific Outdoor Equipment's InsulMat Mega Mat Sleeping Pad cushions both you and your partner on road trips and car-camping vacations.

Perfect for two

Inflates pretty quick. We used to use two self-inflating mats and one of us always ended up on the tent floor because the pads always separated. The thought of tying the two pads together using straps just sounded like a pain in the butt. The Mega Mat is good for car camping but we can still use our old single mats for backpacking.

Would this mat work for doing Thai/Shiatsu massage? The traditional material for those mats are cotton, but I would like one I can take outdoors. I am looking for something that feels solid, like a foam pad as opposed to an air mattress.

great mat

This was the only mat I could find this size that wasn't a full-blown air mattress - and it was great. I followed the directions and inflated/deflated it a few times at home first, then blew a little extra air into it on our trip like the customer service rep suggested. It was really comfortable - and I'm not a camping kind of a girl at heart.
