Pearl Izumi made the Men's Infinity Shorts with vented side panels, so hot air can escape and cool air can make its way in. The Direct-Vent side panels are laser-perforated, which means Pearl Izumi picked out a very detail-oriented shark, attached a laser to its head, brought the sides of the Infinity Shorts within range, and voila—vented sides for your cooling pleasure. Or something like that, anyway. A comfortable liner in the Infinity running shorts eliminates unsightly hang-outs.
