Perception Prodigy 12.0 EXP Angler Kayak
The Perception Prodigy 12.0 EXP Angler Kayak's wide, stable shape and fishing accessories make it the ideal choice for pulling in a few fish on a weekend. The 28-inch wide base keeps you upright when you cast or pull in another catch. Perception added a flush-mounted rod holder behind the large, comfortable cockpit and a Scotty rod holder in front. The Prodigy 12.0 EXP Angler Kayak includes a one-pound folding anchor and four-inch cleat to keep you in place as you work another hole. A comfy, adjustable seat keeps your back and butt happy, while a watertight storage compartment holds your gear.
Bottom Line: Don't suffer pathetically in an uncomfortable, tippy boat. Get in the Perception Prodigy 12.0 EXP Angler Kayak.

I am comparing to the fishing set up by LLBean.. The Manatee. I can not figure out why the LLBean Kayak is so cheap. Is there a reason to purchase the Prodigy @849. Vs. Manatee $499.?

The only differences I see in these 2 models is the LL Bean Manatee (angler) is 10' long, and has LL BEAN on it. WE really love this Kayak, great in every way. I would love to find a couple used ones so all of use could fish together.
(they make too much fun of me getting in and out of the canoe that I hate.)
Unless you need a 12 foot, I would go with the LL Bean or the regular Manatee and save $100.
