Patagonia Simple Guide Pants- Women's

The Patagonia Women's Simple Guide Pants' articulated four-way stretch softshell material allows you to move freely on demanding ice and alpine climbs. A DWR coating fights off light snow, and the Guide Pants' fast-wicking polyester and nylon blend material dries quickly if you get them wet on a dripping ice pitch. Pull your waterproof shell over these Patagonia pants in burly conditions, or wear them alone for better breathability when the weather calms down.

Bottom Line: Tackle the most demanding mountain pitches. The Patagonia Simple Guide Pants will keep your legs comfortable.

Nice Climbing Pants

I bought this for alpine climbing and mix climbing, and it serves me great. It is so stretchy, never bothers my move, and super light with enough protection. Although I don't think I'm gonna use it for mix climb again since it soaked completely after the ice pitch, I'm sure I love this pants for alpine climb in the Rockies. The coderock on the waist band is uncomfortable against skin, so I took it out.

The style is nice and modern, but it was too snug for me.

Great Pants

This is my second pair (4th if you count the 2 pairs I have of the prior versions of these pants). I live in Australia, and use them for bushwalking. They have a terrific fit, and the four way stretch makes scrambling over rocks a breeze. This pair is in the lighter "pumice" colour, and are really good in summer.

It fit great on me...not too tight, not too loose. The material feels great...patagonia has never disappointed me. Gonna try them this weekend x-country skiing and ice climbing :)

Nice pants!

I'm pretty picky when it comes to fit/style, and I'd say these pants are pretty cute. They are light and comfortable, stretchy, and easy to move in. Used them for an all-day snow adventure in warm, then windy, then wet conditions and the pants worked well for all! Flexible enough for big steps and scrambling but sturdy enough to hold up to abuse. Get yourself a pair!

Decent All Purpose Pants

The pants are not exactly flattering, and for me, small in the booty, but they are good all purpose pants that can withstand long alpine climbs as well as desert chimneys. I love the elastic waist - no zipper, no drawstring!

Patagonia Simple Guide Pants- Women's

Very light weight and comfortable, I wore them alone for spring skiing and stayed dry and cool, even when laying on the snow in that "I haven't skied in a month and have not been on my bike enough this spring" feeling. It's a draw string waist so decide if you like that, and not really designed for skiing but I was able to get the cuffs snugly over my tele boots. Thank god no racer boot! I wear a size 8 but found the medium snug for a ski pant that I may want to layer under so opted for the large. They are a little loose but function well. My husband has the men's version and skied in them all season, he has some wear over the knees from his knee pads and low tele stance. But says he loves em!

every day pants

By: Anonymous (2)

I just moved to the northwest from arid southeastern Utah. If the moisture isn't coming out the sky it's dripping off the plants. These pants are light and comfy and dry! I wear them for trail running and as the top layer for muddy/snowy mtb rides. One pair wasn't enough; I wear them every day.
