How many ways do I love this short?

I got these shorts to wear on the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk - and I will never wear any other short on this walk again. They are long enough that I didn't have to wear a spandex short under to prevent chafing, light enough that even in the hottest conditions I felt comfortable and pretty darn dry. The only thing I don't love about them is the built-in brief but I can live with that considering how much I like everything else about them. I'm a generous size 10 and the Large fit great. Patagonia made a winner with this short.

Bought for my wife

I noticed that my wife did not have a good pair of workout shorts (for her work on a treadmill and elliptical trainer). She is a modest person that does not like traipsing around in skimpy outfits at our fitness club. Yet she likes freedom of movement, as well as comfort. So I bought her the "Patagonia Nine Trails Running Shorts." To make a long story short, she loves them so much that she requested a second pair (which I also bought). They are no-nonsense workout/running shorts that one can quickly put on and get out the door with. And they wick-away sweat and dry quickly as well.
