The V-neck and slim fit on the Patagonia Women's Wool 3 V-Neck Long-Sleeve base layer makes it easy to transition from the slopes to a casual dinner without changing. You won't be sitting at dinner in a sweaty top because Patagonia made this top out of naturally odor-blocking merino wool and gave the shirt a 100% chlorine-free wash. Great fit, soft, warm baselayer. I get lots of compliments as I have the baby blue color. Great for hiking, cool weather sports. Shirt could be longer though.

I read "wool" and I think "scratchy." Can you tell me how this fabric feels? I HATE scratchy!!

Merino wool in general is not scratchy at all. I hate that effect of regular wool as well but Merino is amazing stuff......VERY soft! Patagonia stuff isn't bad. You might also check out the stuff from Ibex and even better try the stuff made by backcountry.com My wife has a bunch of it and absolutely loves it!Hope that helps.

very soft, doesn't feel like wool at all. very comfortable against skin, feels kind of like a cotton/rayon blend. great styling, especially around the neck. i have long arms and a long torso, the sleeves on this are generous, the torso is just right. personally, i like having a slightly longer torso but again, mine is longer than most. i wear this all the time!
