Patagonia R3 Fleece Jacket - Women's
Wear the Patagonia Women's R3 Jacket on fall hikes, and layer it under a ski shell on the slopes. The wicking and wind-resistant Polartec Wind Pro fabric keeps you dry and blocks cold air from blasting through to your skin. If plush, velour material sounds deliciously comfy to you, you'll love the inside of the R3 Jacket—the velour grid feels soft when you're wearing a short-sleeve tee under this Patagonia fleece. Bending over on a sunny, winter snowshoe adventure can be dangerous when your buddies are behind you. Luckily, the R3's slight drop-tail back helps block snowballs.
Bottom Line: Revitalize your outdoor spirit with the R3's ridiculously soft interior and wind-resistant exterior.

I love love LOVE this jacket. I go to school in Ann Arbor and the winters are brutal, particularly the wind, but this jacket had a history of actually making me sweat on the way to class it's so warm. I also love that it's cut to fit my womanly frame so I know I look good!!
Is this a slim fit or a bit roomy for the size?

Slightly slim fit so it can be worn easily under a shell and looks great without being bulky. That velvet brown is gorgeous!

Great jacket, very versatile. My wife likes it and it fits well, true to size.

I recently bought this fleece to replace my Patagonia retro x jacket that I misplaced at a restaurant a while back. I liked the thicker fleece of the Retro, but after wearing this for 3 days straight, I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. I wore it around town, snowboarding and to work. It has a fitted silhouette which makes it an ideal layering piece (wore it under a shell snowboarding). It is also much warmer than I anticipated (I ended up ditching the shell after a couple runs and was fine with just the jacket and an Icebreaker baselayer). It is very breathable and kept me warm and dry even though I was hiking back up the sledding hill after every run. It definitely earned it's stars for fit/looks, soft feel, and performance.
