Patagonia Rubicon Puff Pants - Women's

Pull on the insulated, weather-resistant Patagonia Women's Rubicon Puff Pants and head for the mountain. The Rubicon Puff Pants aren't very puffy, thanks to Patagonia's non-bulky recycled polyester insulation that holds onto your body heat without making you feel like a marshmallow. Patagonia made these pants with waterproof breathable fabric so you won't get soaked as you ski the pipe or the steep and deep. A wicking taffeta lining pulls your perspiration away from your skin and prevents that clammy feeling. Inner thigh vents let you unload heat when temps rise or you hike for turns. Articulated knees let you move freely, and gaiters prevent snow from soaking your socks. Angled hand pockets stay out of the way of backpack hip-belts.

I bought these pants to replace an old pair of Fate pants, which I considered irreplaceable. The Rubicon is an awesome pant. Lightweight, yet warm. Excellent powder skirt. Accessible pockets. Adjustable waist, plus belt loops. Another added feature was a lift pass ring. Though I'm usually a woman's 8, I could have gone a size smaller; however, I prefer the baggy feel. My favorite aspect of these pants, though, is that they are not only weather proof, but spill proof too. I spilled chili on my new tan pants, and a little water took the stain right out.
