Patagonia Spraymaster Jacket - Women's

The Patagonia Women's Spraymaster Jacket provides fast packers, hikers, and climbers with completely waterproof performance but keeps weight at a low 10 ounces. The waterproof breathable H2No shell sports fully taped seams and a stretch knit for added mobility. Mesh lining inside the two hand pockets provide ventilation without adding the weight of pitzips. Wear the Patagonia Spraymaster Jacket on long-distance endurance days when every ounce matters and weather protection cannot be sacrificed.

Bottom Line: Patagonia gives you high-performance weather protection with the low-weight Spraymaster Jacket.

Patagonia (Blue) Spraymaster Jacket Women's

This is one of the best jackets I've ever owned. It's lightweight, comfortable and very, very water repellent. I live in Florida where it usually pours when it rains. One morning it was pouring and I walked 2 miles with the hood on and I was thrilled to be snug and dry. With a regular windbreaker I'd normally be dry but sweaty. This jacket breathes very well. Also, I tried out the jacket on a 17 hour flight to Hong Kong. At 30,000 feet it gets rather chilly in the cabin. This jacket insulated me just enough where I wasn't freezing, still felt cool enough but not cold. And the hood stopped my neighbor's A/C jet from blasting cold air on my head. This jacket can be rolled up, stuffed into a knapsack and it comes out with no permanent wrinkles. When I tied it around my waist, it's thinness is a plus since I barely felt it and it didn't make me look bulky. My only complaint is more colors! Sometimes the men's version of clothing is so cool with all the different shades. Women get such limited choices and some of them are just ugly. Who wants to be wearing safety cone orange? Or stonehenge gray? The blue I picked is very visible without being garish. At the airport my family was able to spot me very quickly when I told them to look for a vibrant blue jacket. It's also a great color to be seen in when you're walking or running early in the AM or PM--those sleepy drivers out there. Overall, definitely would recommend this product to others. I'm going to buy one for my mom since she admired it and liked the way it felt when she tried it on.

Why can't Patagonia make this jacket in an XL, too? The junk in my trunk likes to have just as much fun outside as everyone else!
